Job Description:

• We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to manage our finished goods store, at our facility in Awka, Anambra State.
• This role involves overseeing the loading of goods into trucks, managing laborers, writing waybills, and maintaining inventory records to ensure efficient and accurate outbound logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the loading of goods into trucks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Manage and supervise laborers involved in loading and unloading activities.
• Prepare and issue waybills for outgoing shipments.
• Ensure to meet all loading targets daily as this would be the key performance indicator.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of finished goods.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during loading and unloading activities.
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to outbound shipments.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient outbound logistics operations.
• Develop plans to monitor storage utilisation levels.
• Record and monitor stock levels.

Requirements:

• Minimum of HND in Logistics, Business administration, Supply Chain Management, or in a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in logistics, warehousing, or a related role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using inventory management and logistics software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in logistics operations.
• Willingness to work long hours.
• Willingness and ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities.
