Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and academically elite Research Intern to anchor the innovation engine of ValorAfrica BioIndustry Limited. In the specialized landscape of Biotechnology and healthcare-focused snail-based products, success is defined by "Scientific Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize laboratory experiments with the clinical precision required for Data Presentation, Organic Chemistry Analysis, and Project Documentation. This role is designed for a "Research Architect" currently pursuing a Bachelors or HND who can blend "Academic Grit" (carrying out simple scientific projects) with the "Technical Agility" required to use basic laboratory instruments and reporting tools.
Requirements:
1. Experimental Orchestration & Lab Governance
Project Sovereignty: Assist in short-term scientific projects with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Primary Data Collection."
Instrument Architecture: Utilize basic laboratory instruments to conduct experiments, providing the "Structural Foundation" for reliable scientific results.
Integrity Stewardship: Maintain a high standard of safety and accuracy when handling organic chemicals, ensuring the "Source of Lab Safety" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Analytical Logic
Reporting Sovereignty: Utilize Microsoft Suites to present data and report findings, acting as the primary "Source of Research Visibility."
Chemical Architecture: Apply a strong understanding of organic chemistry to evaluate snail-based compounds, providing the "Functional Foundation" for healthcare product development.
Initiative Stewardship: Work alongside the core team to troubleshoot simple scientific challenges, maintaining the "Source of Professional Growth."
3. Operational Integrity & Performance Power
Academic Sovereignty: Translate classroom knowledge (Biochemistry/Microbiology) into practical lab applications, acting as the primary "Source of Academic-to-Industry Synergy."
Location Architecture: Leverage your presence in the Owerri Metropolis to ensure consistent lab attendance and project continuity, providing the "Regional Foundation" for daily operations.
Velocity Logic: Utilize self-motivated research habits to turn raw observations into structured reports in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Innovation Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Current student of Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related biological science (Bachelors or HND).
Location: Must be living in Owerri, Imo State (Non-negotiable).
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data reporting.
Attributes: Research-oriented, self-motivated, and possesses a "Clinical Curiosity."
