Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated HR Intern (Compensation & Benefits) to join our team in Wuse II, Abuja. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in global reward strategies, market benchmarking, and HRIS administration.
Requirements:
Compensation Strategy & Benchmarking: Assist in developing compensation structures that align with business objectives and pay equity goals. Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive pay practices across regional markets.
Performance & Reward Management: Support the design and management of salary grids, incentive programs, and the annual compensation review process (merit increases, promotions, and bonuses).
Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans. Support the benefits enrollment process and act as a point of contact for vendor and broker relationships.
HRIS Management: Help maintain and optimize our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Ensure data integrity for compensation, benefits, and performance records, and generate reports for workforce analytics.
Compliance & Reporting: Monitor local labor laws and tax regulations to ensure all compensation and benefits policies remain compliant.
Communication & Training: Assist in developing internal communication materials to educate employees and managers on company reward policies and wellness initiatives.
Budgeting & Analysis: Support the management of the C&B budget by conducting cost analyses and collaborating with the finance team on accurate forecasting.
Qualifications and Skills:
A strong interest in Human Resources, specifically in Compensation, Benefits, and Data Analytics.
Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS platforms.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively handle employee inquiries.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
