Job Description:
We are seeking a high-potential and analytically rigorous Quality Control Intern to anchor our quality assurance operations in Maryland, Lagos. In the world of high-fidelity engineering and production, success is defined by "Standard Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex client processes with stringent ISO and regulatory requirements. This role is designed for a "Compliance Architect" (Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering) who can blend "Technical Observation" with the "Analytical Precision" required to identify non-conformities and track audit progress.
Requirements:
1. Audit Execution & Process Observation
Checklist Governance: Assist in completing assigned sections of audit checklists under professional supervision, ensuring all technical requirements are rigorously evaluated.
Field Intelligence: Observe client processes during site visits and document high-accuracy notes to support technical findings and non-conformity reports.
Regulatory Research: Conduct basic research on industry-specific regulations and ISO updates to ensure audit preparations are anchored in current global standards.
2. Compliance Tracking & Data Sovereignty
Audit Log Stewardship: Maintain the internal Audit Log with millimetric precision, tracking progress from the initial planning phase through to final report issuance.
Record Integrity: Organize and archive audit workpapers and supporting documentation according to the company’s strict record-retention policy.
Inspection Review: Assist in reviewing technical inspection reports, test results, and production logs to confirm 100% compliance with quality benchmarks.
3. Quality Improvement & Technical Support
Analytical Documentation: Draft summaries of audit observations and identify potential non-conformities for final review by the Quality Manager.
Continuous Improvement: Participate actively in internal quality audits and process-improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance production velocity.
Safety & Policy Alignment: Ensure all field and office activities comply with company policies, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Fresh Graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of experience (this is an entry-level role).
Technical Savvy: Basic understanding of quality control (QC) principles, ISO frameworks, and technical inspection techniques.
Core Competencies
Analytical Grit: Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot technical deviations in complex processes.
Communication Power: Good verbal and written skills for documenting audit findings and collaborating with teams.
Operational Discipline: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel is critical) and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
