We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious Trainee Accountants to support the branch in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounting operations.
- This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting, reporting, and compliance while working closely with branch managers and the central finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily accounting functions including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and data entry.
- Assist with preparation of financial reports.
- Monitor stock counts, sales reports, and cash lodgments.
- Help with bank reconciliations, budget support, and compliance checks.
- Provide audit support by organizing and preparing financial documentation.
Requirements:
- HND / Bachelor's Degree (minimum of a 2nd Class) in any numerate field such as Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software is an advantage.
- Good communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and build a career in accounting/finance.
