TELEHEALTH PHYSICIAN AT FASTLAB TELEHEALTH SERVICES LTD | PHYSICIAN JOBS IN LAGOS & ABUJA

Nigeria | Posted on 17/03/2026

About Company:

FastLab is a groundbreaking healthtech startup revolutionising diagnostics in Africa, starting with Nigeria, by connecting healthcare providers and professionals to the digital economy through our innovative unified platform.

Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and tech-savvy Telehealth Physician to serve as the clinical anchor for FastLab. In the rapidly evolving Nigerian healthtech landscape, success is defined by "Diagnostic Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize remote patient assessments with the sophisticated data provided by our integrated Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). This role is designed for a "Digital Clinician" with 4+ years of experience who can blend "Evidence-Based Diagnosis" with the "Operational Agility" required to mentor a scaling specialist marketplace.

Your mission is to ensure "Absolute Clinical Excellence and Scalable Patient Access." You will be the primary medical engine of the platform: responsible for de-risking the virtual patient journey, synthesizing lab trends to catch medical anomalies, and setting the gold standard for remote care in Nigeria. If you possess "Elite Communication Power," a valid MD/MBBS, and the "Growth Mindset" to trade traditional practice for a high-impact startup trajectory, we want you to drive our clinical sovereignty.

Requirements:

1. Virtual Diagnostic Architecture

  • Remote Assessment Mastery: Conduct high-fidelity virtual consultations, utilizing patient history and real-time symptoms to deliver accurate diagnoses without physical proximity.

  • LIMS Data Synthesis: Leverage FastLab’s integrated diagnostic tools to analyze laboratory trends and medical reports, identifying anomalies that inform treatment protocols.

  • Clinical Documentation: Maintain meticulous, encrypted digital patient records that serve as the "Source of Truth" for longitudinal care and follow-up coordination.

2. Platform Evolution & Mentorship

  • Workflow Engineering: Provide proactive feedback on platform usability and clinical workflows, ensuring the technology serves the physician-patient relationship effectively.

  • Marketplace Scalability: Act as a clinical mentor for future specialists as FastLab scales its marketplace, ensuring medical standards remain uncompromised during rapid growth.

  • Regulatory Stewardship: Ensure every virtual interaction complies strictly with Nigerian medical regulations and global ethical standards for telemedicine.

3. Patient-Centric Growth & Responsiveness

  • Continuity of Care: Provide precise treatment recommendations and coordinate necessary follow-up care, ensuring patients never feel "lost" in the digital ecosystem.

  • Performance Velocity: Maintain high availability and responsiveness, adhering to consultation patterns that prioritize patient wait-time reduction.

  • Startup Synergy: Commit fully to the FastLab mission, contributing as a proactive problem-solver dedicated to scaling healthcare access across Lagos, Abuja, and beyond.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Valid medical degree (MD/MBBS) and a current practicing license in Nigeria.

  • Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of clinical experience; prior experience in telemedicine or remote consultation is highly preferred.

  • Commitment: Full-time dedication to the role during contracted hours (no competing medical practices).

Core Competencies

  • Digital Literacy: High comfort level with healthtech platforms, LIMS tools, and digital record-keeping.

  • Communication Power: Exceptional ability to build rapport and convey complex medical advice via video/audio channels.

  • Problem-Solving Grit: A proactive approach to clinical challenges and a genuine excitement for scaling healthtech solutions.
