Job Description:

We are seeking hands-on Technicians to serve as the mechanical and electrical heartbeat of our production facility in Ikeja. In a high-volume manufacturing environment, the Technician is the "First Responder"—the individual responsible for ensuring that sophisticated machinery runs at peak efficiency with zero friction. This role is designed for "Technical Generalists"—HND/OND holders in Engineering with 1–3 years of experience who are eager to master industrial automation and predictive maintenance.

Your mission is to minimize downtime and maximize output. You will be responsible for the entire operational lifecycle: from the precision-starting of production lines and real-time monitoring to troubleshooting complex electrical faults and documenting maintenance logs. Requirements:

1. Equipment Governance & Production Support

• Machine Stewardship: Operate and monitor high-speed production equipment, ensuring all parameters align with operational guidelines.

• Operational Efficiency: Support the wider production team to ensure machines run at maximum capacity with minimal unplanned downtime.

• Tool Integrity: Maintain all specialized technical tools, equipment, and work areas in "Audit-Ready" condition.

2. Troubleshooting & Maintenance Engineering

• Fault Diagnosis: Assist in identifying and fixing both mechanical and electrical faults, acting as the primary support for senior engineers.

• Preventive Maintenance: Carry out basic routine maintenance and proactive troubleshooting to prevent equipment failure before it occurs.

• Technical Documentation: Meticulously document all maintenance activities and report recurring technical issues to the Production Supervisor for systemic resolution.

3. Safety & Continuous Learning

• HSE Compliance: Strictly follow all industrial safety procedures and operational protocols during production activities.

• Skill Acquisition: Participate actively in our on-the-job technical training programs designed to elevate your engineering capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: OND or HND in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is a MANDATORY requirement.

• Experience: 1 – 3 years of hands-on experience as a technician within a technical production or manufacturing environment.

• Technical Foundation: A strong basic understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems.

Core Competencies

• Problem-Solving: Practical technical skills with the ability to "think on your feet" during equipment failures.

• Adaptability: A high level of "Coachability" and a willingness to participate in rigorous technical training.

• Communication: Ability to clearly report technical inconsistencies to supervisors and engineering leads.
