Job Description:

  • We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and provide technical expertise to customers.
  • This is a full-time hybrid role for a Technical Sales Engineer based in Lagos, with some work-from-home flexibility.
  • You will be responsible for generating sales leads, conducting technical presentations, providing technical support to clients, and collaborating with the sales team to meet revenue targets.
  • This role also involves advising customers on technical solutions, preparing detailed sales reports, and contributing to product development based on customer feedback.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute technical sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Provide technical pre-sales support, including product demonstrations, trials, and proof-of-concepts
  • Conduct site surveys, assess customer needs, and provide technical solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and new technologies
  • Collaborate with sales teams to generate, identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, product training, and workshops

Requirements:

  • Industry-specific certifications or training
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Valid Driver's license

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in technical sales, pre-sales support, or a similar role (3 to 5years experience)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Work will require travelling
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in selling Power Quality solutions such as UPS, Surge Protectors, Harmonic Filters, Power Factor Correction Equipment, Voltage Stabilizers

Salary

N300,000 to N500,000
