Job Description:

  • Identify, develop, and manage business opportunities with oil & gas operators, drilling contractors, and service companies.

  • Present, promote, and sell oilfield equipment, tools, and services to both existing and prospective clients.

  • Provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales activities, including product demonstrations, presentations, and trials.

  • Understand client requirements, recommend appropriate solutions, and customize offerings to meet technical and operational needs.

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare and deliver technical/commercial proposals, bids, and tenders in line with company standards.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and growth objectives.

  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular visits, technical discussions, and professional service delivery.

  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, HSE standards, and contractual obligations.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of drilling, completion, production, or well intervention equipment/services.

  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals/bids.

  • Customer-focused, with strong networking and relationship management skills

  • Experience working with major IOCs, NOCs, and oilfield service providers in Nigeria.

  • Familiarity with tendering processes and contract management in the oil & gas sector.

  • OEM certifications or specialized training on oilfield equipment.

  • Strong business development mindset with technical credibility.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree/HND in Mechanical, Petroleum, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in technical sales/business development within the oil & gas industry.
