Job Description:
Identify, develop, and manage business opportunities with oil & gas operators, drilling contractors, and service companies.
Present, promote, and sell oilfield equipment, tools, and services to both existing and prospective clients.
Provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales activities, including product demonstrations, presentations, and trials.
Understand client requirements, recommend appropriate solutions, and customize offerings to meet technical and operational needs.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Prepare and deliver technical/commercial proposals, bids, and tenders in line with company standards.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and growth objectives.
Maintain strong client relationships through regular visits, technical discussions, and professional service delivery.
Ensure all activities comply with company policies, HSE standards, and contractual obligations.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of drilling, completion, production, or well intervention equipment/services.
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals/bids.
Customer-focused, with strong networking and relationship management skills
Experience working with major IOCs, NOCs, and oilfield service providers in Nigeria.
Familiarity with tendering processes and contract management in the oil & gas sector.
OEM certifications or specialized training on oilfield equipment.
Strong business development mindset with technical credibility.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree/HND in Mechanical, Petroleum, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years experience in technical sales/business development within the oil & gas industry.
