Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and analytically sharp NYSC Accounts Intern to anchor our finance unit in Lekki Phase 1. In the world of global talent acquisition and international payroll, success is defined by "Fiscal Precision", the ability to harmonize daily bookkeeping with the complex reporting required for a global platform. This role is designed for a "Finance Architect in Training" who can blend "Numerical Rigor" with the "Willingness to Learn" required to support audits, payroll, and expense management.
Requirements:
1. Financial Reporting & Statement Support
Reporting Architecture: Assist in the preparation of high-fidelity financial statements and monthly reports that reflect the company’s global operational health.
Bookkeeping Governance: Handle foundational bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all daily transactions are recorded with millimetric accuracy.
Statement Reconciliation: Support the finance team in periodic reconciliations to ensure bank balances and internal ledgers are in 100% alignment.
2. Fiscal Operations & Compliance
Payroll & Expense Management: Assist in the administration of payroll and the tracking of operational expenses, ensuring all staff and vendor obligations are documented.
Audit Readiness: Provide tactical support during internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are organized and accessible for compliance checks.
Record Stewardship: Maintain a meticulous filing and documentation system for all financial records, serving as the "Source of Truth" for corporate data.
3. Professional Growth & Talent Innovation
Mentorship Engagement: Actively participate in hands-on learning opportunities and mentorship sessions to master corporate finance software and best practices.
Global Vision Advocacy: Support a mission that empowers companies to hire talent globally, understanding how financial precision fuels cross-border business growth.
Digital Literacy: Leverage Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software to accelerate reporting velocity and accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Status: Current NYSC member (Serving in Lagos).
Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related numerical field.
Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a strong advantage.
Location: Must reside within commutable distance to Lekki Phase 1.
