We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- Follow up on ongoing investigations, detecting malpractices and other suspicious activity, and helping with monitoring and investigation of fuel, batteries, generators and related items’ thefts on company owned tower sites, office and ware house premises.
- Undertake the creation and management of departmental records.
- Record statements at Police units and other relevant state security organs plus attending court sessions.
- Assist the Head of Security in the development and Implementation of site security initiatives aimed at mitigating risks to the business.
- Manage investigations in all areas regarding theft and sabotage.
- Represent ATC Nigeria at meetings, conferences and seminars related to security of company assets.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts and good relationships within the law enforcement, judicial departments and local leaders in Nigeria
- Coordinate and monitor security deployments on sites in partnership with stake holders in order to eliminate potential risks which may cause harm to ATC Nigeria assets and performance.
- Receive escalations information from internal and external vendors and customers and act on it accordingly.
- Compile weekly security reports, prepare trend analysis and forward them to the Head of Security.
- Frequent visits to assigned locations, for investigations and project monitoring missions.
- Manage site access issues
- Undertake risk assessments and coordinate escort duties for ATC personnel and vendors travelling to, through and from their regions.
- Perform any other duties delegated to him by the Head of Security.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of six years’ experience in security operations;
- Experience, leading, developing and managing security operations in the telecommunications industry or the Nigerian Police Force at a rank of Assistant Superintendent of police & above.
- Experience creating, drafting, and implementing safety, security, and response plans for a medium-sized organization in its developmental stages;
- Knowledge of security systems including, radios, cameras, alarms and access control;
- Experience managing security technology and contractors;
- Experience working with executive protection
- Experience in coordinating all aspects of facilities and operations security, including but not limited to security manpower, security technology, security policies and procedures, medical, safety, training, and continuity of operations.
Functional Experience and Competencies:
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills
- Expert knowledge of Safety requirements within the Telecommunications industry.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle
- Ability to operate a forklift preferred
- Excellent process creation and implementation skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
