Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven, operationally disciplined Station Manager to take full ownership of our retail filling station operations in Lagos. As the leader on the ground, you will be the primary custodian of our station’s profitability, customer experience, and HSSE standards. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, excels at managing diverse teams, and possesses the financial rigor to ensure zero revenue leakage. Requirements:

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all daily functions, ensuring continuous product availability, peak pump efficiency, and proactive facility maintenance.

  • Sales & Profitability: Drive revenue growth for fuel, lubricants, and convenience store items. Implement local marketing initiatives and rigorously monitor performance against daily/monthly targets.

  • Financial & Inventory Stewardship: Manage end-to-end cash reconciliation and banking. Conduct precise daily stock reconciliation (tank dips) and ensure absolute accountability for all financial transactions and product inventory.

  • HSSE Compliance: Enforce the highest standards of Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) compliance. Conduct emergency drills, safety inspections, and maintain critical firefighting infrastructure without exception.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor pump attendants, cashiers, and security staff. Build a culture of service excellence, discipline, and operational compliance.

  • Reporting: Deliver accurate, timely reports covering sales performance, stock levels, maintenance status, and staff metrics to regional management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Science, Geology, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Location: Must reside within Lagos and its environs.

  • Professional Advantage: Certifications in Retail Management, Health & Safety, or Operations Management are highly valued.

Salary

₦200,000 - ₦250,000/month
