Job Description:
Spesa is seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented Eatery Manager to lead our daily operations and drive the performance of our food brand. This role is designed for a proactive leader who understands the mechanics of a busy kitchen and the nuances of high-end customer service. You will be responsible for the full operational lifecycle from managing high-quality food production and inventory to controlling costs and maximizing daily profitability.
The ideal candidate is a disciplined professional who can foster a culture of teamwork and punctuality while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Operational Oversight & Quality Control
Daily Management: Oversee all eatery operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and professional service during all shifts.
Standards Enforcement: Ensure that food quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene consistently meet Spesa’s premium standards.
Waste Management: Monitor portion control and implement strict measures to reduce food wastage and optimize ingredient use.
Financial & Inventory Management
Performance Tracking: Track daily sales, expenses, and overall profitability; prepare detailed weekly operational reports for management.
Cost Control: Apply a strong understanding of food costing to manage budgets and drive the eatery's financial performance.
Supply Chain: Manage inventory levels, coordinate food supplies, and maintain productive relationships with vendors to ensure zero service interruptions.
Team Leadership & Customer Experience
Staff Supervision: Lead and coordinate kitchen staff, servers, and support teams, enforcing discipline and fostering a high-performance culture.
Customer Satisfaction: Handle customer feedback and complaints with professionalism, ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression.
Strategic Growth: Develop and implement localized strategies to increase sales and improve overall operational workflows.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: HND or B.Sc. in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: * 3–5 years of experience successfully managing a restaurant, eatery, or fast-paced food service business.
Proven track record in staff coordination and operational discipline.
Core Competencies:
Financial Acumen: Strong awareness of cost control, inventory management, and sales reporting.
Leadership: Exceptional team management skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and drive accountability.
Resilience: Ability to maintain high standards and solve problems quickly in a high-pressure environment.

Location: Strict Requirement: Must be a resident of Ikorodu or the immediate surrounding areas.
