Job Description:

• Sets up, operates, and maintains ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Applies professional ultrasound scanning knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, ensuring objectivity and impartiality at all times.

• Performs ultrasound examinations on patients in accordance with established protocols.

• Produces high-quality diagnostic images from ultrasound procedures.

• Interprets ultrasound images to assist in accurate patient diagnosis.

• Addresses patient concerns before, during, and after ultrasound examinations with empathy and professionalism.

• Maintains up-to-date and accurate records of scans conducted and images generated.

• Refers patients to other healthcare professionals when further assessment or treatment is required.

• Provides reassurance and comfort to nervous or anxious patients throughout the procedure.

• Delivers detailed health education and support to patients and their families.
