Job Description:
The Social Media Manager plays a key role in shaping and executing the brand’s social media strategy to enhance online visibility, engage target audiences, and drive business growth. This position involves creating compelling content, managing online communities, tracking performance metrics, and staying ahead of emerging digital trends.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Develops, implements, and manages the company’s overall social media strategy.
Creates and curates engaging content tailored for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
Plans and executes social media campaigns to support marketing goals, product launches, and special events.
Monitors and responds promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and online reviews.
Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) including reach, engagement, audience growth, and conversions, and prepares regular performance reports.
Keeps up to date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices in the industry.
Collaborates with graphic designers, content creators, and cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency in messaging and tone.
Manages paid social media advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, budgeting, and performance optimization.
Oversees influencer partnerships and user-generated content initiatives to expand brand reach and engagement.
Requirements:
Proven track record as a Social Media Manager or in a similar digital marketing role.
Strong knowledge of major social media platforms, management tools, and analytics tracking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging, brand-aligned content.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for design, visual storytelling, and audience engagement.
Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media metrics and generate actionable insights.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2–4 years of proven, hands-on experience in social media management, either in-house or at an agency.
Experience in running paid social media campaigns is a strong advantage.
A portfolio showcasing previous work or social media accounts managed is preferred.
