SHIPMENT COORDINATOR III AT NAUTILUS NIGERIA ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION LIMITED (NNEC)

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• Responsibilities include to liaise with Customs/Excise officers and other 3rd party, verify shipping documents for endorsement, prepare cover letter with the endorsed documents and send to 3rd party Trades and Affiliates.
• Familiar with trade regulations.
• Actualize voyages and initiate freight payment/billing by completing voyages online.
• Verifying billing invoices from vendor and reconcile differences in Intercompany Invoicing System (INNET) invoices.
• Follow up with supplying source on credit/debit.
• Troubleshoot system issue in the day-to-day operation.
• Identify dollar savings through transportation optimization. Analyze transportation spend and recommend optimization opportunities.
• Assist in generation of dead stock / slow moving / excessive imported inventory disposal and redeployment plan.
• Able to work with minimal supervision. Typically an expert in the field who can provide training to junior Logistics Coordinators.

Requirements:

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree with 15 - 25 years experience.

• Strong communication skills as this position will be contact point for government officer.
• Familiarity/Proficiency with computer systems.
• Logical thinking skills for logistics optimization and improvement to the work process.
