Job Description:

We are seeking a high-precision and technically rigorous Service Engineer to anchor our industrial boiler service operations across West Africa. In the heavy industrial sector, success is defined by "Operational Uptime", the ability to ensure that Bosch thermal systems function at peak efficiency with zero unscheduled downtime. This role is designed for a "Thermal Systems Expert" with 3–5 years of experience who can blend "Hands-on Electromechanical Troubleshooting" with the "Safety Discipline" required to manage high-pressure industrial environments.

Your mission is to ensure "Fast, Reliable Service Interventions and Uncompromising Safety Compliance." You will be the primary technical guardian of our installed base: responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of industrial boilers, from initial commissioning and performance inspection to emergency repairs and technical reporting. If you possess "Strong Diagnostic Grit," a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and the mobility to support key accounts across the continent, we want you to drive our service excellence.

Requirements:

1. Commissioning & Life-Cycle Maintenance

• System Activation: Lead the professional commissioning of Bosch industrial boilers, ensuring that all thermal and electrical parameters are calibrated to global Bosch standards.

• Predictive Inspection: Execute rigorous maintenance and inspection schedules to identify potential failure points before they impact customer production.

• Burner & Thermal Optimization: Calibrate burner systems and thermal controls to maximize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions for our key accounts.

2. Advanced Diagnostics & Emergency Intervention

• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex electromechanical issues under field conditions, providing fast and reliable solutions to minimize system downtime.

• Rapid Response: Coordinate and execute emergency interventions, providing onsite technical assistance for critical system failures across West Africa.

• HSE & Quality Governance: Execute all service activities in strict compliance with Bosch quality, safety, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards to protect both personnel and assets.

3. Strategic Account Support & Documentation

• Key Account Stewardship: Act as the primary technical contact for key account customers, ensuring that all contractual service commitments and SLAs are met with excellence.

• Technical Reporting: Prepare high-fidelity service reports and technical documentation, providing customers and internal teams with clear insights into system health.

• Ecosystem Coordination: Collaborate with Bosch sales and engineering teams, as well as external suppliers, to facilitate spare parts procurement and complex system upgrades.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Technical Diploma or Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Systems.

• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience specifically in industrial boilers, burners, or thermal systems.

• Mobility: Strong willingness to travel frequently within Africa to support regional installations and interventions.
