Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Senior Systems Auditor to anchor the Third Line of Defence for our banking operations in Lagos. In a specialized financial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of digital transformation and the precision of the control environment success is defined by "Digital Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize independent risk assurance with the clinical precision required for Operating Systems, Databases, Network Security, and Data Center Governance. This role is designed for a "Governance Architect" specifically a senior professional with at least 5 years of experience and a CISA certification who can blend "Analytical Grit" (performing risk analysis and control testing) with the "Strategic Agility" required to execute Audit Automation Scripts and Data Analytics Support.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Planning Governance

• Sovereignty of the Program: Develop and review high-fidelity audit programs and checklists, acting as the primary "Source of Engagement Strategy."

• Scope Architecture: Ensure total coverage of the audit scope according to approved objectives, providing the "Structural Foundation" for risk-based fieldwork.

• Integrity Stewardship: Ascertain Bank-wide compliance with all approved IT policies and guidelines, ensuring the "Source of Procedural Fidelity" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Execution Logic

• Assurance Sovereignty: Execute complex audits of Operating Systems, Databases, and Business Applications, acting as the primary "Source of Technical Assurance."

• Reporting Architecture: Raise high-fidelity audit observations and generate draft reports via the Audit Issues Management System (AIMS), providing the "Functional Foundation" for management action.

• Infrastructure Stewardship: Evaluate the soundness of Data Center security practices and administrative standards, maintaining the "Source of Systemic Protection."

3. Operational Integrity & Automation Power

• Automation Sovereignty: Develop and maintain specialized audit automation scripts and respond to legal Garnishee requests, acting as the primary "Source of Process Efficiency."

• Analytical Architecture: Provide technical expertise and data analytics support to the Internal Audit Group (IAG), providing the "Relational Foundation" for data-led risk assessments.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 5+ years of IS Audit expertise to accelerate the "Engagement-to-Follow-up" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Audit Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Minimum of 2nd Class Lower in Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or MSc is a strong advantage.

• Certification: Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) is mandatory.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar Information Systems audit function.

• Technical Power: Expertise in Data Analysis, CAAT tools, and knowledge of IT management from a business perspective.

• Sector Intelligence: Deep understanding of Banking Operations, products, and customer segmentation.
