We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • The Boiler Manager will lead and oversee the boiler operations team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable functioning of industrial boilers.
  • Your role involves managing the day-to-day operations, optimizing efficiency, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the boiler department.

Responsibilities

  • Boiler Operations: Oversee the operation and maintenance of industrial boilers, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability. Monitor key operational parameters, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures.
  • Reliable Steam Supply: Maintain a consistent and reliable steam supply to support manufacturing processes, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
  • Maintenance Management: Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for boilers and related equipment. Coordinate major repairs and upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum equipment reliability.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and environmental regulations. 
  • Training: Conduct regular safety audits, implement safety training programs, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Efficiency Optimization: Analyze operational data, identify inefficiencies, and implement strategies to optimize boiler efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and minimize operational costs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with local, state, and federal regulations related to boiler operations. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, permits, and certifications.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness in the boiler room and surrounding areas. Dispose of waste materials properly and organize tools and equipment to ensure a safe and orderly workspace.

People Management Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for arranging, leading, mentoring, and supervising a team of boiler operators and technicians. 
  • Regularly training, and support to ensure high-performance standards and a culture of safety and teamwork. (e.g., Maintenance, Record keeping, productivity, etc).
  • Guild the boiler operators on safety, Safe Handling items, and compliance to SOP’s.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Additional certifications in boiler operations and management are highly desirable. 
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience operating boilers in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial boiler systems, controls, and operations. Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing boiler-related issues.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations governing boiler operations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report operational status effectively.
