Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a bridge between cloud engineering and security, ensuring our systems are not only scalable and automated but also fortified against emerging threats. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing our CI/CD pipelines and maintaining high availability across our cloud environments.

Requirements:

• Infrastructure Architecture: Design and manage robust, secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.

• CI/CD Optimization: Build, maintain, and optimize sophisticated CI/CD pipelines, integrating DevSecOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Automated Provisioning: Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate deployment and ensure environment consistency.

• Container Orchestration: Manage and scale containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes to support high-performance applications.

• Security & Compliance: Proactively implement IAM, network security, encryption, and access controls. Lead incident response efforts, perform risk assessments, and manage security audits to ensure compliance with global standards.

• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor cloud environments for performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and reliability issues.

• Leadership: Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of proven expertise in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Cybersecurity roles.

• Cloud Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Technical Stack: Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation.

• Security Frameworks: Solid understanding of industry-standard security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001.

• Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and system tasks.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with clear communication skills to translate complex technical requirements into actionable solutions.
