Job Description:
Drive sales revenue growth, customer acquisition, and long-term client retention. You will serve as a key point of contact for technical sales, managing the full customer lifecycle from lead generation to contract management.
Requirements:
Strategic Growth & Planning: Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to create and execute marketing plans that hit revenue targets.
Market Intelligence: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities, track competitive activity, and report on emerging product trends.
Lead Generation & CRM Management: Maintain precise records of client correspondence and contact data in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Action Plans) to ensure high-quality prospect follow-up.
Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with potential clients via phone and email. Present tailored product solutions and marketing collateral to drive interest.
Technical Sales & Proposals: Develop compelling business proposals and deliver high-impact sales presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
Cross-Selling & Relationship Management: Identify cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base. Foster long-term relationships to ensure a consistent pipeline of high-volume business.
Quality Assurance: Partner with the training team to maintain a 95% customer satisfaction rate and provide rapid, accurate responses to product queries.
Operational Excellence: Participate in bid management, contract reviews, and departmental budget planning. Ensure all sales documentation remains current and compliant.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field. Professional certifications are a distinct advantage.
Experience: 5–10 years of post-NYSC experience in business development or sales.
Preferred Background: Proven success in an IT firm, specifically with experience selling software solutions.
