Job Description:
We are seeking a results-oriented Sales Representative to join our pharmaceutical sales team in Gombe. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the visibility and sales of our pharmaceutical products within the region. You will serve as the primary link between the company and healthcare professionals, ensuring that our life-saving and health-enhancing products are well-represented and readily available in the market.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong academic background in marketing and a proven track record of navigating the unique dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry.
Requirements:
Market Penetration & Sales
Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets for assigned pharmaceutical products within the Gombe territory.
Product Promotion: Present and promote the benefits of our pharmaceutical offerings to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare practitioners.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the region to identify opportunities for market share growth.
Territory Planning: Develop and execute effective route plans to ensure maximum coverage of healthcare facilities in Gombe and its environs.
Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales, visits, and customer feedback; prepare regular reports for management.
Customer Support & Education
Technical Information: Provide healthcare professionals with accurate technical and scientific information regarding our product portfolio.
Order Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from order placement to successful delivery and payment collection.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
BSc Degree in Marketing or a related field of study.
Experience:
Direct experience in the sales of pharmaceutical products is mandatory.
Proven ability to navigate the regulatory and ethical landscape of medical sales.
Core Competencies:
Persuasion: Strong communication and negotiation skills with a knack for professional clinical selling.
Resilience: Ability to operate independently in a competitive field environment.
Territory Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the healthcare landscape and business environs of Gombe State.
