Job Description:

The Sales Officer will play a key role in driving product sales, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with trade partners within the Owerri territory. This position is best suited for an energetic and experienced sales professional with a solid understanding of the local market, particularly within the consumer goods, cosmetics, or related industries. The role requires proven experience in territory sales, customer engagement, and field execution.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Drives product sales and ensures strong market presence within the assigned territory.

• Builds and maintains relationships with local retailers, stockists, and trade partners.

• Executes route plans, ensures product availability, and supports trade promotions.

• Monitors stock movement, gathers market insights, and reports on sales performance.

• Meets or exceeds assigned sales targets and supports the regional sales team in market coverage.

• Maintains accurate sales records and prepares reports using basic Microsoft Excel tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 4–5 years of proven sales experience.

• Prior experience in FMCG, cosmetics, or personal care product sales is essential.

• Ability to work independently in the field and consistently meet daily sales targets.

• Strong communication skills, with confidence in both spoken and written English.

• Valid driver’s license with good knowledge of navigation within the assigned region.

• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel and ability to perform simple sales-related calculations.
