Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead our business development efforts and lead the acquisition of strategic accounts across key sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for driving high-impact revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, cultivating deep relationships with decision-makers, and delivering tailored ICT solutions.
The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with an extensive pedigree in technology sales and a consistent track record of exceeding aggressive targets within complex B2B and public sector environments.
Requirements:
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Strategic Acquisition: Identify, develop, and close high-value business opportunities, with a primary focus on the Public Sector and Government Parastatals.
ICT Solution Selling: Present and sell the company’s suite of ICT services, conducting deep-dive needs assessments and cost-benefit analyses to recommend the most effective technology stacks.
Lead Generation: Build a robust sales pipeline through relentless prospecting, high-level networking, and strategic outreach.
Account & Stakeholder Management
Relationship Excellence: Build and maintain strong rapport with key stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers to ensure long-term partnership and account growth.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Coordinate with Presales, Technical, and Operations teams to ensure the seamless delivery of integrated, large-scale solutions.
Retention & Satisfaction: Proactively resolve customer challenges to maintain elite levels of client satisfaction and secure repeat business.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Performance Tracking: Provide management with accurate sales forecasts, real-time pipeline updates, and detailed market intelligence reports.
Industry Oversight: Monitor competitor activities, emerging market trends, and technological shifts to identify new avenues for growth.
Target Achievement: Consistently hit and exceed agreed-upon sales targets and business development objectives within defined timelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Key Account Manager within the ICT industry.
Strong background in selling technology solutions to the Financial Services, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, or Retail sectors.
A demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding high-value sales targets.
Technical & Industry Knowledge:
Established relationships with OEM partners and technology distributors is highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of Business Relationship Management (BRM) and modern customer engagement strategies.
Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
