Job Description:
- We are hiring a Risk & Compliance Officer to support daily reviews, audits, and compliance checks across the business. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial/operational reporting, identify risks, and strengthen internal controls.
Key Deliverables
- Daily call-over of financial and operational transactions.
- Daily review and reconciliation of client statements.
- Spot checks on cash, inventory, access control, and security logs.
- Support execution of the Master Audit Plan and prepare audit work papers.
- Reconciliations of receivables, inter-company balances, and petty cash.
- Track and report implementation of audit and compliance recommendations.
- Prepare weekly activity reports and monthly compliance updates.
- Escalate risks and control weaknesses promptly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field with 1–2 years’ experience in audit, risk, compliance, or internal control.
- ICAN/ACCA/CIA in view is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
- Good understanding of risk and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent organization, documentation, and reporting skills.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
