Job Description:

We are seeking a high-energy and operationally focused Restaurant Manager to lead our Lagos location. You will be the heartbeat of the restaurant, responsible for orchestrating the perfect guest experience while ensuring operational excellence behind the scenes. This role is for a leader who excels at managing diverse teams from the kitchen and dispatch to customer service and has the commercial acumen to drive sales and control costs.

Requirements:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily rhythm of the restaurant, ensuring seamless service delivery from the moment we open until the last customer leaves.

  • Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise all staff members, including CSRs, kitchen crew, dispatch riders, and cleaning personnel. You will handle scheduling, attendance, and performance management.

  • Customer Experience: Set the gold standard for service. You will be the primary point of resolution for guest feedback, ensuring that every issue is handled with professionalism and every guest leaves satisfied.

  • Sales & Growth: Monitor daily sales performance against targets and implement strategies to drive revenue growth.

  • Compliance & Hygiene: Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards. You are responsible for ensuring the restaurant is always inspection-ready.

  • Inventory & Waste Management: Exercise tight control over inventory levels, minimizing wastage and ensuring cost-effective usage of all resources.

  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Facilitate constant communication between the kitchen and dispatch teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and smooth workflows.

  • Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate operational reports to management, providing insights on team performance, sales trends, and inventory status.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.

  • Operational Agility: Strong ability to multitask, solve problems on the fly, and maintain calm during peak service hours.

  • Customer Focus: A passion for hospitality and a deep understanding of what constitutes a "best-in-class" guest experience.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with local health/safety regulations in Lagos.

  • Business Acumen: Ability to analyze sales data and manage inventory/waste effectively.
