Requirements:

• Market Intelligence: Conduct comprehensive research on macroeconomic trends, financial markets, and specific investment opportunities relevant to our portfolios.

• Investment Analysis: Review fixed income, money market instruments, and other assets to provide actionable advisory recommendations and support portfolio decisions.

• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, valuation frameworks, and performance tracking tools.

• Reporting: Prepare high-quality investment memos, market updates, and internal research reports for leadership and portfolio managers.

• Risk Assessment: Monitor existing holdings and watchlists, flagging potential risks or opportunities based on market disclosures and financial statements.

• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on new products and counterparties, ensuring full alignment with regulatory requirements.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with wealth advisory, compliance, and portfolio management teams to deliver timely, practical research insights.

• Industry Monitoring: Stay updated on competitor products, regulatory changes, and broader industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience in investment research, asset management, wealth management, corporate finance, or financial advisory.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret financial statements, assess credit quality, and conduct complex spreadsheet modeling.

• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Nigerian financial market, investment instruments, and regulatory landscape.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data into clear client-facing insights.
