Job Description:
Are you a systems-oriented HR professional looking to make a strategic impact? We are seeking a technically strong and well-rounded Senior HR Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who combines deep HR operations expertise with a passion for data-driven decision-making and process improvement. You will be instrumental in strengthening our people frameworks, optimizing the employee lifecycle, and enhancing our organizational effectiveness across the Nigerian market.
Requirements:
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Recruitment Optimization: Manage and refine end-to-end recruitment strategies and onboarding experiences to attract top-tier talent.
Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with hiring managers to define clear role requirements and robust hiring plans.
Recruitment Metrics: Leverage data-driven insights to track recruitment KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and improve hiring efficiency.
Performance Management & Organizational Effectiveness
Performance Frameworks: Drive the implementation of performance management processes, including goal-setting, KPI tracking, and appraisal cycles.
Analytics: Monitor performance outcomes to identify organizational trends and support leadership in structural planning.
Operational Excellence: Contribute to initiatives that improve role clarity, organizational structure, and overall productivity.
HR Data & Analytics
Reporting: Manage accurate HR data systems and generate high-impact reports regarding headcount, attrition, and performance.
Insights: Analyze workforce data to identify capability gaps and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
Dashboarding: Develop and maintain intuitive HR dashboards (Excel/HRIS) to visualize key people metrics.
Learning & Development (L&D)
Initiative Coordination: Oversee training programs and maintain comprehensive learning records.
Effectiveness Tracking: Assess training participation and ROI to ensure development initiatives meet organizational needs.
Employee Relations & Compliance
Policy Stewardship: Serve as a subject matter expert for HR policies, handling employee relations with discretion and professionalism.
Operational Integrity: Maintain audit-ready documentation and manage payroll/benefits administration.
Legal Compliance: Ensure all practices remain strictly compliant with Nigerian labor laws and evolving regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 6–8 years of progressive HR experience covering multiple functional areas.
Core Competencies: Expert understanding of performance management, HR operations, and employee relations within the Nigerian context.
Technical Skills: Proficient in HR data analysis and advanced Excel.
Professional Qualification: CIPM certification or active membership is highly preferred.
Mindset: You are structured, process-oriented, and inherently focused on continuous improvement.
Salary
