RECRUITMENT AT NIGERIAN AIR FORCE DIRECT SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION (DSSC) 34/2025

About Company:

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is a branch of the Nigerian Armed Forces responsible for defending the nation’s airspace, conducting air operations, and providing support to land and maritime forces. The NAF is seeking qualified graduates and postgraduates for enlistment into the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34/2025 in various professional fields.

Job Description:

The DSSC offers graduates and professionals the opportunity to serve as officers in the Nigerian Air Force across multiple specializations. Successful candidates will undergo rigorous military and professional training and will be commissioned as officers upon completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve in designated professional roles within the Nigerian Air Force.
• Undergo military training and leadership development.
• Uphold discipline, professionalism, and loyalty to the Nigerian Constitution.
• Support operational, administrative, and technical functions of the Nigerian Air Force.
• Execute assigned duties in line with the core mission of national security and defense.

Requirements:

To qualify, applicants must meet the following conditions:

1. Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.

2. Must be between 20 and 32 years of age (up to 40 years for medical consultants) by 30 January 2026.

3. Must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit in line with NAF standards.

4. Must be of good character with no criminal convictions.

5. Minimum height: 1.66m for males and 1.63m for females.

6. Must not have tattoos or body inscriptions.

7. Must have completed NYSC (where applicable) and present discharge/exemption certificate.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of Second Class Lower Division (for university graduates) or Lower Credit (for HND holders) from a recognized institution.

• Possession of professional qualifications in relevant fields will be an added advantage.

• Medical consultants must have requisite qualifications and be fully registered with relevant professional bodies.
