Job Description:

We are seeking a professional, welcoming, and highly organized Receptionist to be the heartbeat of our front-office operations. As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a critical role in creating a positive, efficient, and secure environment for our guests and staff alike. Requirements:

  • First-Point-of-Contact: Greet and welcome visitors with warmth, directing them to the appropriate person or office.

  • Communication Hub: Professionally answer, screen, and forward incoming calls; provide accurate information via phone, email, and in person.

  • Office Security: Serve as the gatekeeper of the office by monitoring the visitor logbook, issuing badges, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

  • Front-Desk Administration: Maintain a tidy, well-stocked reception area and ensure all office supplies are inventoried and ordered as needed.

  • Logistics & Mail: Manage the receipt, sorting, and distribution of daily mail and deliveries.

  • Scheduling & Travel: Assist with updating calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel/accommodations, and preparing expense vouchers.

  • Clerical Support: Perform essential administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.

  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain updated records of office expenses and costs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: OND or HND qualification.

  • Hands-on Experience: Proven experience operating standard office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, fax machines).

  • Core Competencies:

    • Professionalism: Must maintain a polished appearance and a consistently professional attitude.

    • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills.

    • Resourcefulness: Proactive problem-solving skills to handle daily office challenges.
