QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER AT SIPERCO NIGERIA LIMITED

Siperco Nigeria Limited, a Plastics Manufacturing Industry, is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• Oversee and manage all quality control activities within the plastic production department.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to meet internal and external quality standards.
• Supervise quality inspectors and ensure hourly inspections are carried out effectively at all stages of production.
• Analyze production samples and ensure alignment with product/customer specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Identify root causes of quality issues and lead corrective and preventive action processes.
• Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, ISO standards, and customer requirements.
• Liaise with production, maintenance, and procurement teams to uphold quality objectives.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of inspections, test results, and actions taken.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily and weekly quality control reports to senior management.
• Train and mentor quality assurance staff to maintain high-quality standards across all operations.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or HND in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of proven experience in quality control/quality assurance within the plastic manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of plastic production processes, materials, and typical product defects.
• Experience implementing and working within ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Strong leadership, team management, and conflict-resolution skills.
• High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
• Proficiency with quality measurement tools, documentation, and reporting software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
