We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• We are seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes and ensuring compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• This role requires strong technical expertise, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for continuous improvement in food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• As the Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for performingroutine quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance systems, SOPs, and HACCP plans.
• Conduct audits (internal and external), inspections, and risk assessments.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to GMP, food safety, and quality standards.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Train and mentor QA technicians and production staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, ISO, BRC, FSSC 22000).
• Support product development and validation of new products and packaging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in the food or snack manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations,HACCP, GMP, ISO9001.
• Experience with quality management systems and third-party audits
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Certification in HACCP, PCQI, or ISO standards is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work shifts or weekends as needed.

Preferred Location:

• Applicants who reside or can easily commute within Amuwo Odofin and its environs have an advantage.
