Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive, legally-qualified Property Manager to oversee our diverse property portfolio. In this role, you will bridge the gap between real estate operations and legal risk management. You will be the primary point of contact for stakeholders, responsible for protecting the company’s interests, ensuring lease compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of property administration. Requirements:
Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison between landlords, property owners, and tenants, ensuring professional and transparent administration of all assigned assets.
Legal Administration: Draft, review, and manage all tenancy agreements, lease documents, and property-related legal instruments to ensure the company remains protected.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Examine all legal issues pertaining to property projects, providing expert guidance to mitigate liability and ensuring full adherence to local tenancy laws and regulations.
Tenant Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of tenant acquisition—from marketing and screening to guarantor verification and professional onboarding.
Operational Oversight: Liaise with facility managers to ensure consistent property maintenance, conduct routine inspections, and promptly resolve tenant disputes.
Performance Reporting: Track and report on property performance, occupancy levels, and tenancy status, providing the executive team with actionable updates on departmental activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: LL.B Degree and qualification as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (BL).
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in Property Management, Real Estate, or Property Law.
Technical Proficiency:
Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian tenancy laws, lease administration, and property documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
