Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Project Site Supervisor to join our expanding Furniture Manufacturing and Interior Design team in Victoria Island. In this role, you will be the bridge between our production facility and the client site, ensuring that our high-quality designs are executed with precision, efficiency, and professional excellence. You will oversee the end-to-end installation process, managing teams and contractors to deliver projects that meet our rigorous standards.

Requirements:

• Site Inspection & Pre-Installation Verification: Conduct thorough pre-installation site visits. Take precise final measurements and evaluate site readiness—including wall straightness, floor levels, and power point positioning—to ensure seamless alignment with factory cutting lists and prevent installation errors.

• On-Site Leadership: Coordinate and supervise installers, carpenters, technicians, and site laborers. Delegate tasks to optimize productivity and maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship throughout the installation phase.

• Logistics & Inventory Control: Oversee the secure offloading and handling of furniture components upon delivery. Audit all items against the delivery manifest to ensure all hardware and materials are accounted for before installation begins.

• Quality Assurance & Defect Management: Perform progressive inspections to guarantee perfect finish alignment, secure joints, and pristine surfaces. Maintain a proactive log of any factory defects or site-related issues, liaising directly with our Ikeja production team for rapid resolution.

• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain strict adherence to project timelines. Provide daily/weekly structured progress reports to the Project Manager and Head of Production, complete with detailed photo documentation.

• Stakeholder Relations: Represent the company on-site as the primary point of contact. Manage client feedback professionally and collaborate effectively with main contractors, MEP engineers, and architects to mitigate structural conflicts and ensure smooth project flow.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: HND or B.Sc. in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in site supervision, carpentry installation, or interior fit-out project management, ideally within the furniture manufacturing or high-end design sectors.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Expertise in interpreting complex architectural drawings, structural layouts, assembly diagrams, and 3D floor plans.

  • Competence in digital project tracking tools (Excel, WhatsApp reporting, and photo-logging applications).

• Core Competencies: Exceptional measurement accuracy and an in-depth understanding of structural variables (e.g., plumb lines, leveling, and moisture mitigation).

• Safety Standards: Solid working knowledge of on-site safety regulations and a commitment to enforcing strict PPE compliance among all site personnel.
