About Company:
The Paradigm Group is a dynamic, multidisciplinary organization headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, with a strong focus on delivering innovative and high-quality solutions across architecture, construction, and real estate development.
Job Description:
At The Paradigm Group, we believe that project management is the bridge between vision and execution. We are a system-driven organization dedicated to delivering projects with precision, discipline, and excellence.
We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Project Manager to lead our architectural and construction initiatives. You will take full ownership of the end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of high-impact projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. If you are a leader who thrives on structure and knows how to drive construction from the drawing board to the final walkthrough, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
Strategic Planning & Execution
Project Roadmap: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and execution strategies.
Scope Management: Clearly define deliverables, milestones, and project scope.
Seamless Integration: Ensure total alignment between design phases, procurement cycles, and site execution.
Site Coordination & Operational Excellence
Site Leadership: Oversee daily operations, conduct regular inspections, and hold progress reviews to ensure construction aligns perfectly with approved drawings and specifications.
Problem Resolution: Identify technical and operational bottlenecks in real-time and resolve them efficiently to prevent project delays.
Quality Assurance: Enforce strict adherence to building regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Financial & Resource Oversight
Budget Stewardship: Partner with Quantity Surveyors to prepare, review, and monitor project budgets, ensuring all expenditures are tracked and cost overruns are proactively prevented.
Procurement Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement team to source materials and services, ensuring the timely availability of resources.
Vendor Management: Monitor the performance of contractors and consultants to ensure they meet our high-performance standards.
Stakeholder Management
Central Hub: Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication.
Reporting: Facilitate stakeholder meetings, manage client expectations with regular updates, and maintain comprehensive documentation of all project activities.
KPI Tracking: Monitor project performance metrics and prepare professional progress reports for senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: 5–8 years of professional experience in project management within the construction or architecture industry.
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a closely related field.
Technical Mastery:
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Deep understanding of construction processes, site management, and industry-standard execution workflows.
Working knowledge of Nigerian building regulations and local industry standards.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
Core Competencies:
The "Hands-On" Factor: You are a driver, not just a planner. You understand the field as well as you understand the blueprints.
Leadership & Discipline: You bring structure to chaotic environments and foster accountability across all project teams.
Analytical Mind: You possess sharp problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
Communication: You can bridge the gap between technical teams (architects/engineers) and non-technical stakeholders (clients/investors).
