Job Description:

We are seeking a high-precision Project Engineer to lead the site-level execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works. This is a critical mid-to-senior level role designed for an engineer who thrives in the intersection of technical planning and on-site reality. You will be responsible for ensuring that complex HVAC, fire protection, and electrical systems are installed safely, on time, and to exacting quality standards. If you are a disciplined problem-solver with a "boots-on-the-ground" approach to coordination and a deep understanding of MEP systems, we want you to drive our project delivery.

Requirements:

1. Technical Execution & Trade Coordination

• Multidisciplinary Oversight: Assist in the planning and execution of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring all MEP services are integrated seamlessly with civil works.

• Workflow Optimization: Coordinate daily site activities between subcontractors and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow and minimize "trade interference."

• QA/QC Compliance: Conduct routine inspections to verify that every installation complies with approved drawings and project specifications.

2. Performance Monitoring & Resource Management

• Schedule Integrity: Monitor project timelines and provide the Project Manager with detailed reports on progress, identifying potential delays before they impact the critical path.

• Cost Governance: Assist in controlling project spend by meticulously tracking material usage, manpower, and on-site resources.

• Risk & Change Management: Support the identification of site risks and the implementation of mitigation strategies, while managing change orders and variations as they arise.

3. Testing, Commissioning & Close-out

• Systems Verification: Coordinate all testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems perform as designed.

• Snagging & Remediation: Manage the snagging process under the direction of the Project Manager to achieve "zero-defect" delivery.

• As-Built Documentation: Support project close-out by preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation for the client.

Qualifications and Skills:

The Ideal Profile

• Education: Minimum of a First Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in MEP project execution and site coordination.

• Technical Depth: Proven experience with HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems on medium-to-large scale construction projects.

• Coordination Mastery: Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously.

• HSQE Stewardship: A "safety-first" mindset with an uncompromising commitment to site quality and environmental standards.
