Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc was incorporated in September 1960 as a private limited liability company, and commenced operations in 1962 with an installed capacity of 600 metric tons per day. The Company was converted to a public limited liability company in 1978, and its shares were subsequently listed on The Nigerian Stock Exchange. 

Job Description:

  • Ensuring correct recording and follow-up of all transactions related to the major projects
  • Register and follow-up all Purchase Requisitions, Advance Payments, Mobilization Payments, Purchase Orders, Part-payments on certification, Completed Orders with Goods Received Note or Approved Certification, Invoices and payment of all contractors with the correct recording in the accounting records.
  • Make sure that Project codes are available on AX for each and every project going on.
  • Prepare & maintain project-related records (Business Case, Capex Approval Form, Contracts etc.)
  • Monitor the project related purchase order from raising PR up to receiving at the site and utilization of the same.

Requirements:

  • Possess strong knowledge of project accounting principles, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Be proficient in financial management software and Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in tracking project expenditures and variances.
  • Be able to prepare timely project financial statements and reconcile accounts effectively.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain transparency, integrity, and accountability in all financial transactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure alignment on budgets and deliverables.
