Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations and lead our production floor to success. In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between management and our production staff, ensuring that our daily targets are met with efficiency, safety, and uncompromising quality.

Requirements:

Production & Operations Management

• Scheduling & Planning: Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules to meet customer demand and strict deadlines.

• Workflow Optimization: Allocate tasks and assign shifts to operators and technicians, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.

• Resource Management: Ensure that all machines, tools, and raw materials are readily available for uninterrupted operations.

Quality Assurance

• Standards Compliance: Ensure all finished products meet our company and regulatory quality standards.

• Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the Quality Control team to identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.

• Auditing: Maintain meticulous records of production quality checks and audits.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervision: Lead production teams, providing guidance, motivation, and hands-on support to ensure performance standards are met.

• Training: Facilitate training sessions on safety protocols, quality standards, and new process improvements.

• Performance Management: Monitor individual employee performance and address any issues proactively.

Health, Safety & Compliance (HSE)

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with workplace health and safety regulations at all times.

• Safety Culture: Conduct regular safety drills and inspections to maintain a secure environment.

• Incident Reporting: Investigate and report accidents or near-miss incidents promptly to ensure preventative measures are taken.

Reporting & Documentation

• Data Integrity: Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

• KPI Tracking: Maintain records of production volume, downtime, and workforce utilization.

• Maintenance Coordination: Report equipment breakdowns immediately and coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, or Microbiology.

• Experience: 3–6 years of experience in manufacturing or production supervision (experience in an FMCG environment is highly preferred).

• Technical Proficiency: A strong understanding of production workflows, complex machinery, and industry-standard quality systems.
