We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- The role involves supervising daily production activities within the OSD facility to ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety standards while meeting quality and efficiency targets.
- It also includes overseeing documentation, coordinating with QA/QC teams, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities within the OSD facility.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and safety protocols.
- Monitor and control the production process to meet quality and efficiency standards.
- Oversee equipment calibration, maintenance, and line clearance before and after production.
- Prepare and review production documents including batch manufacturing records (BMRs) and batch packaging records (BPRs).
- Coordinate with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) teams for in-process checks and timely release of products.
- Train and mentor production operators and technical staff to enhance productivity and compliance.
- Plan and allocate resources (manpower, materials, and equipment) to achieve production schedules.
- Investigate and resolve any production deviations, equipment malfunctions, or non-conformances.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulatory audits and inspections.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) Degree with current license to practice (Pharmacist Council of Nigeria).
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (OSD experience is a strong advantage).
- Good understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulatory standards (NAFDAC, WHO, etc.).
- Experience with manufacturing equipment (e.g., granulators, tablet presses, coating machines, blister packing).
