Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Production Operations Engineer / Technician to manage and optimize production processes at our facility in Warri. The ideal candidate will oversee plant operations, ensure compliance with technical specifications, and maintain high standards of operational safety in an LPG/CNG processing environment.

Requirements:

• Field Operations & Surveillance: Conduct regular field surveillance, collect precise plant readings, and promptly report any operational anomalies.

• Equipment Management: Safely operate and monitor critical equipment, including pumps, compressors, reboilers, and separators. Manage LPG/CNG loading stations.

• Process Control: Operate fractionation towers (deethanizer, depropanizer, and debutanizer) and their associated auxiliary systems. Actively monitor and optimize these processes from the central control room.

• Plant Integrity & Safety: Execute plant start-up/shutdown sequences and strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Support all emergency response initiatives.

• Quality Assurance: Maintain strict LPG product specifications by utilizing and interpreting Gas Chromatography (GC) data.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: HND, B.Sc., or B.Eng. in Engineering or Physical Sciences.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of proven, cognate experience working in a similar Oil & Gas processing facility.

• Professional Certification: Current membership with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) or Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). COREN registration is mandatory.

• Certifications: Valid professional certifications in relevant fields are required. HAZOP/HAZID training is a significant added advantage.

• Age Profile: 35–55 years.
