Job Description:

• We are looking for creative, detail-driven designers to join our expanding design and innovation ecosystem.
• This role is open to Product Designers who can create meaningful, well-crafted objects and furniture for our exhibitions, museum, and commercial projects.
• You will work across Design Week Lagos, the Design Museum, the Made by Design Exhibition, and selected private and public projects.

What You Will Do

• Design furniture, lighting, objects, and interior products for our Greenhouse, Design Museum, and special collections
• Develop concepts into prototypes with local artisans and manufacturers
• Create sketches, technical drawings, 3D models, and production specifications
• Work closely with the Innovation Lab and our production partners
• Support product development for exhibitions, retail, and limited editions

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of form, materiality, ergonomics, and fabrication
• Ability to design for both craft and scaled production
• Proficiency in product design tools (Rhino, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, SketchUp, etc.)
• Passion for African design, sustainability, and material innovati
