Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist Assistant to join our team. Working under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, you will be the backbone of our daily retail operations. This role is perfect for a health-focused professional who thrives in a customer-facing environment, possesses a keen eye for organization, and is passionate about community wellness and retail excellence.

Requirements:

• Operational Support: Assist the Pharmacist in receiving, labeling, and organizing both prescription medications and general retail stock.

• Customer Service: Act as the first point of contact for patients, providing a warm welcome and managing point-of-sale transactions with accuracy and professionalism.

• Inventory & Merchandising: Oversee the visual appeal and stock levels of wellness products, cosmetics, and over-the-counter (OTC) items. Ensure all products are clean, priced correctly, and have valid expiration dates.

• Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment that meets all health and safety standards.

• Sales & Promotion: Handle basic product inquiries regarding wellness and beauty ranges, escalating all clinical questions to the Pharmacist. Assist with digital/social media activities to promote our retail offerings.

• Inventory Reconciliation: Participate in regular stock counts and restocking activities to ensure consistent availability of essential health products.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Pharmacy Technician certificate, diploma in a health-related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience: Prior experience in a community pharmacy or retail health setting is highly preferred.
