Job Description:

• We’re hiring a People & Operations Lead for a fast-growing personal care company in a critical scale-up phase. This role is for a hands-on, execution-driven HR professional who can build people systems from the ground up, drive performance, and align HR strategy with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute people strategy aligned with business growth objectives
• Build HR structures, policies, and processes from scratch and drive implementation.
• Lead performance management systems (KPIs, reviews, continuous improvement)
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and talent development.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and internal governance standards.
• Manage day-to-day operations, admin processes, vendors, and office coordination.
• Drive a high-performance culture, employee engagement, and internal communication.
• Leverage HR tech and data to improve processes and support decision-making.

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience in HR/People Operations.
• Proven experience building HR systems and structures from the ground up.
• Strong hands-on experience in performance management and policy implementation.
• Tech-savvy with HR tools and systems.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, start-ups, or scaling environments is a plus.
• Strong execution, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
