We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • To manage employee-related statutory deductions and remittances, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Nigerian regulatory standards in alignment with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate and process payroll statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, ITF).
  • Ensure accurate and timely remittance to statutory bodies and third-party institutions related to payroll.
  • Maintain up-to-date payroll statutory remittance schedules and ensure compliance with deadlines.
  • Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to validate statutory payment files.
  • Reconcile payroll statutory accounts monthly with finance and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare payroll statutory reports and documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Stay informed of changes in statutory payroll regulations and adjust processes accordingly.
  • Assist in preparing monthly payroll payment summaries and approvals.
  • Support documentation and filing of payroll-related remittance proofs.
  • Manage relationships with statutory bodies and ensure professional communication

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in HR operations, payroll, or benefits administration.

The Person Must:

  • Have a good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have strong knowledge of Nigerian statutory payroll regulations (PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, ITF, etc.).
  • Be proficient in payroll processing systems and HR/finance ERP software.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll data.
