Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Pastry Cashier to be the welcoming face of our shop. You will be the last person our customers interact with before they enjoy our treats, so we are looking for someone who takes pride in providing exceptional service. You will handle sales transactions with precision, maintain the beauty of our display cases, and contribute to the warm, inviting atmosphere of our shop.

Requirements:

• Customer Service: Provide a warm welcome to every guest, offering assistance with product selection and ensuring they leave with a smile.

• Point of Sale (POS) Management: Process cash, card, and electronic payments accurately and efficiently.

• Problem Solving: Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints with grace and professionalism.

• Shop Maintenance: Keep the pastry displays visually appealing, well-stocked, and spotless throughout the day.

• Operational Support: Assist with the opening and closing routines of the shop to ensure everything is ready for the next day.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all daily sales transactions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: OND, HND, or SSCE (or equivalent).

• Experience: Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus, but a great attitude and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
