Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and operationally elite Optical Manager to anchor the retail and clinical engine of our practice. In the specialized landscape of optical services, success is defined by "Patient Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize high-quality clinical care with the clinical precision required for QuickBooks Sales Entry, Inventory Reconciliation, and Lab Logistics. This role is designed for an "Operational Architect" with at least 2 years of experience who can blend "Relational Grit" (assisting patients with frame and lens selection) with the "Technical Agility" required to manage multi-branch sales reporting and HMO documentation.
Requirements:
1. Fiscal Orchestration & Multi-Branch Governance
Sales Sovereignty: Enter and manage daily sales for all branches in QuickBooks with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Revenue Accuracy."
Reporting Architecture: Prepare monthly performance summaries and HMO reports for audit and accounting, providing the "Structural Foundation" for executive oversight.
Reconciliation Stewardship: Audit lab invoices against orders and receipts at month-end, ensuring the "Source of Cost Integrity" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Clinical Logic
Patient Sovereignty: Receive and guide patients through appropriate optical services, acting as the primary "Source of Customer Experience Excellence."
Logistics Architecture: Follow up on lab orders and manage contact lens procurement, providing the "Functional Foundation" for on-time delivery of vision solutions.
Clinical Stewardship: Support the Optometrist during patient consultations and frame styling, maintaining the "Source of Clinical Support."
3. Operational Integrity & Performance Power
Inventory Sovereignty: Lead monthly stock reconciliations across the optical department, acting as the primary "Source of Asset Visibility."
Clerical Architecture: Manage phone calls, branch visits, and general administrative tasks, providing the "Administrative Foundation" for multi-site efficiency.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 2+ years of experience and computer proficiency to resolve service delays in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Operational Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field (Humanities or Social Sciences preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a relevant field (Optical, Healthcare, or Retail Management).
Tech Mastery: Must be Computer Savvy (QuickBooks experience is a distinct advantage).
