Job Description:
Branch Operations Support:
- Assist in managing daily branch operations, including account opening, transaction processing, and cash handling.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all financial transactions.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and guiding customers on available products and services
- Assist in the onboarding of new customers and educate them on the use of digital banking services.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all operations comply with CBN regulations, internal policies, and microfinance banking standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions and customer documentation.
Cash Management:
- Monitor cash inflows and outflows to ensure the branch maintains adequate liquidity.
- Support the Head of Operations in daily cash reconciliation and vault management.
Operational Efficiency:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to streamlining branch operations.
- Work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure operational targets are met.
Risk Management:
- Adhere to all internal control measures to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of customer funds.
- Promptly escalate any suspicious or fraudulent activities to the Head of Operations.
Requirements:
Education:
- A minimum of an HND/Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIBN, ICAN, ACCA) are an advantage
- Close proximity to Epe is required
Experience:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in banking operations, preferably in the microfinance sector.
- Hands-on experience with transaction processing and customer service is highly desirable.
- A close proximity to Epe is required
