Job Description:
Hilwa Heights is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and disciplined Operations Manager to lead our luxury hospitality operations in Maitama. You will be the central figure responsible for ensuring that our apartments and villas consistently meet elite standards of service, cleanliness, and functionality. This role requires a sophisticated leader capable of supervising diverse operational units including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and security to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
The ideal candidate must possess high emotional intelligence, operational intelligence, and the ability to maintain a calm, professional environment in a fast-paced, high-stakes setting.
Requirements:
Facility & Operations Management
Standard Enforcement: Oversee daily operations to ensure all apartments and guest areas meet luxury hospitality benchmarks.
Inspections: Conduct rigorous, regular inspections of facilities, utilities, and equipment to ensure 100% functionality.
Supply Chain: Monitor inventory levels and oversee procurement to ensure all operational supplies are consistently available.
Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance or facility upgrades.
Staff Leadership & Accountability
Multidisciplinary Supervision: Lead a diverse team including front desk, housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, security, drivers, and gardeners.
Scheduling: Prepare staff rosters and coordinate shift transitions to ensure seamless operational flow.
Discipline & Training: Monitor staff grooming, punctuality, and performance, providing guidance and addressing concerns professionally.
Guest Experience & Administrative Duties
Hospitality Excellence: Handle guest complaints, special requests, and escalations with a solution-oriented mindset.
Reporting: Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding operations, maintenance, and staffing for management review.
Cost Control: Monitor operational costs and support the management team in budget planning and decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: * 3–5 years of experience in hospitality operations, hotel management, or luxury apartment/Airbnb management.
Proven supervisory or managerial experience is mandatory.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and modern reporting tools.

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication ability.
Efficiency: High attention to detail with the capacity to multitask under pressure.
