Job Description:

We are seeking a technically expert and hands-on Operations Manager to anchor our professional laundry and dry-cleaning division in Gaduwa, Abuja. In the premium garment care sector, success is defined by "Process Precision", the ability to harmonize advanced stain chemistry, fabric-specific care, and rapid turnaround times. This role is designed for an "Operational Veteran" with at least 7 years of experience who can blend "Deep Textile Knowledge" with the "Managerial Grit" required to lead a high-output production floor.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Damage Quality and Flawless Service Delivery." You will be the primary steward of the facility: responsible for engineering efficient workflows, managing sophisticated machinery, and mentoring a team to meet exacting standards of garment finishing. Requirements:

1. Technical Garment Care & Quality Integrity

• Process Governance: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of garment care—from initial sorting and stain pre-treatment to washing, specialized dry-cleaning, and final pressing.

• Fabric Stewardship: Apply expert knowledge of textile science to determine optimal cleaning methods, preventing shrinkage, color bleeding, or fabric degradation.

• Stain Engineering: Implement advanced spotting techniques and chemical applications to resolve complex stains while maintaining garment safety.

2. Workflow Optimization & Resource Management

• Production Architecture: Design and implement high-efficiency workflows to ensure consistent turnaround times and meet customer delivery deadlines.

• Inventory Control: Monitor the consumption of detergents, solvents, and packaging materials, ensuring 100% availability of consumables through proactive restocking.

• Asset Maintenance: Manage the daily operation and preventive maintenance of industrial washers, dry-cleaning machines, and steam presses to minimize downtime.

3. Leadership, Safety & Customer Success

• Team Mentorship: Supervise and train laundry staff on professional techniques, safety protocols, and the Prixair standard of excellence.

• Service Recovery: Act as the final point of escalation for customer inquiries or complaints, ensuring rapid, professional resolution and service restoration.

• HSE Compliance: Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards, particularly regarding the handling of dry-cleaning chemicals and high-pressure steam equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent.

• Experience: At least 7 years of hands-on experience in a professional laundry/dry-cleaning environment, with a strong track record in supervision.

• Technical Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in fabric care, stain removal, and the operation of modern dry-cleaning machinery.
