We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• The Networks Engineer at SWATX is tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructure in Nigeria to support our growing operations.
• This role requires extensive knowledge of networking principles, security protocols, and troubleshooting methodologies to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
• Your responsibilities will include configuring network devices, monitoring network traffic, and collaborating with IT teams to enhance overall system performance.
• You will also be responsible for enforcing security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in network engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and architectures.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to diagnose network issues and implement effective solutions.
• Solid knowledge of network security measures, such as VPNs and firewalls.
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are preferred.
